Peanut Butter Pinwheel Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. sugar (can use half white & half brown)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips

Direcciones

  1. Cream shortening and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat in egg, peanut butter and lowfat milk. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in creamed mix. Place dough on lightly floured wax paper. Then roll into a 15"x8" rectangle. Heat chocolate chips over warm water, cold slightly and spread over dough. Roll jelly roll and refrigerate20 to 30 min. Slice 1/4" thick. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Yield: 4 dozen.
