Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. sugar (caster)
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 825 gm pear halves
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. rum

Direcciones

  1. Combine sugar and water in a pan, stir over heat till sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil, cold then chill till cool.
  2. Blend or possibly process pears till smooth, add in lemon juice, rum and sugar syrup. Pour mix into a tray or possibly lamington tin and freeze for 3-4 hrs. Whisk mix regularly while freezing to ensure a smooth texture. The more often you do, the better the finished result will be.
  3. Serve with fresh or possibly poached pears and berry coulis.
