Receta Pears Baked With Marsala And Cinnamon ( Pere Al Forno Con Marsala E Cannella )

- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.Cut a small slice from the rounded end of each pear so which it will stand up then remove the core.
- Spread a little butter over the skin of each pear and stand them in an oven proof dish.
- Dust with sugar.
- Pour the Marsala and white wine into the dish.
- Scatter the cinnamon sticks over the pears then cover the dish loosely with foil.
- Bake for about 30 min remove the foil and lower the oven heat to 150C/300F/Gas 2. Continue to bake for a further 30 min till the pears are very tender and slightly shrivelled. Serve hot with their juices and creme fraiche.
