Pecan Butterscotch Icebox Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. pecans (halves or possibly pcs)

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add in egg, beat well. Gradually add in dry ingredients. Fold in pecans. Shape into long rectangle. Place it lengthwise on a piece of wax paper to create roll 12 to 14 inches long by 2 inches in diameter. Freeze or possibly chill overnight. Dough must be solid. Cut thin slices 1/8 to 1/4 inches thick. Bake 8 to 10 min at 375 degrees to golden.
