Ingredientes

  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2/3 cup butter, melted and divided
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 16 to 17 small (1 1/2-inch) YORK Peppermint Patties,
  • unwrapped and coarsely chopped

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan
  3. Stir together the cocoa and baking soda in a large bowl
  4. Stir in 1/3 cup butter
  5. Add the boiling water
  6. Stir until the mixture thicken
  7. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and the remaining 1/3 cup butter
  8. Stir until smooth
  9. Add the flour, vanilla, and salt
  10. Blend completely
  11. Stir in the peppermint pattie pieces
  12. Spread into the prepared pan
  13. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan
  14. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack
  15. Cut into bars
