Receta Perfectly Peppermint Brownies

Ingredientes
- 3/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2/3 cup butter, melted and divided
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 16 to 17 small (1 1/2-inch) YORK Peppermint Patties,
- unwrapped and coarsely chopped
Direcciones
- Heat the oven to 350 F
- Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan
- Stir together the cocoa and baking soda in a large bowl
- Stir in 1/3 cup butter
- Add the boiling water
- Stir until the mixture thicken
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and the remaining 1/3 cup butter
- Stir until smooth
- Add the flour, vanilla, and salt
- Blend completely
- Stir in the peppermint pattie pieces
- Spread into the prepared pan
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack
- Cut into bars
