- 1 Granny Smith apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp rolled oats
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds (for protein and omega 3s)
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp each: cinnamon, cardamom, fresh grated nutmeg
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Topping: 1/4 cup chopped pecans, 1 tbsp melted margarine (Earth Balance), 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp flour
