2 pound peppers (use red and green together for a dramatic presentation)
1 sm. dry chili pepper pod for each jar (optional)
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
3 1/2 c. water
2 1/4 c. vinegar
6-7 tbsp. salt

Slice, core and seed peppers. Pack into jars. Add in pepper pods and garlic (optional). Dissolve salt in water. Add in vinegar and fill jars. Ready in about 7-10 days.
