Pico de giallo

Searching forever for a good recipe finally found one on a website called 'Natasha's Kitchen'. It is better than at the mexican restaurants, however I changed from white onion to red and turns out it was the perfect substitution because it gave it a very slight sweet taste.

Ingredientes

  • 3-4 Roma tomatoes diced
  • 1 jalopeno stem and seeds removed & finely diced
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4-1/2 cup fresh cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Direcciones

  1. Combined diced tomatoes, jalopeno,onions cilantro in a bowl add lime juice salt and pepper stir well. Serve immediately or refrigerate overnight.
