- Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi) – 1
- Cinnamon stick – 1 inch stick
- Onion, medium – 2
- Tomatoes, medium – 2
- Green Chilies – 2
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Dry pomegranate seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 2 tsp (divided)
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Channa masala powder – 1 tbsp (I used Everest brand)
- Amchur powder (Dry mango powder) – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
- Lemon wedges – to serve
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
