Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 slice white bread
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pound grnd beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can beef bouillon, broth
  • 1 (#2) can pineapple chunks and juice (2 1/2 c.)
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/4 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Accent
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Direcciones

  1. Pour lowfat milk over torn up bread. Combine with beef, egg, salt, pepper and garlic salt. Wet fingers and form mix into walnut size balls. Brown balls in shortening or possibly broil in oven turning frequently.
  2. Combine in small saucepan all remaining ingredients except cornstarch. Simmer 15 min.
  3. Moisten cornstarch in a little water and add in to sauce stirring. Simmer till thick and boil, 2-3 min. Add in liquid removed meatballs. Serve over rice or possibly chow mein noodles.
