Receta Pineapple Mince Pie

Ingredientes
- 2/3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 tbsp. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce.) can crushed or possibly pineapple tidbits
- 1 (28 ounce.) jar prepared mincemeat
- 1/3 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter and cheese to create crumb mix. Drain and throw away 1/4 c. of pineapple syrup, combine remainder with mincemeat. Turn into unbaked crust. Sprinkle with cheese crumb topping. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake below center of oven at 425 degrees till it starts to brown. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min longer.
