Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 box powdered fruit pectin
  • Yellow or possibly green food coloring
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon spearmint extract

Direcciones

  1. In large sauce pan, mix pineapple juice and water. Add in fruit pectin, mixing well. Stir in a couple drops yellow or possibly green coloring. Bring mix to a hard boil, stirring. Stir in sugar. Bring to a full rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add in flavoring. Skim off foam with metal spoon. Pour jelly quickly into hot glasses. Cover at once with 1/8 inch hot paraffin. Add in lids. Store in cool, dry place. Makes 5 (6 ounce) glasses.
