Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Minced fresh pineapple
  •     Sugar, to taste if necessary
  • 3 c. Rice wine vinegar
  •     (or possibly mild white vinegar)

Direcciones

  1. Place the pineapple in a sterile glass jar or possibly bottle. Add in sugar to taste, if the fruit is not sweet sufficient. Pour the vinegar over the fruit.
  2. Cover and store in a cold, dark place for 6 to 14 days, checking for strength of flavor which you like.
  3. Strain through cheesecloth or possibly a paper coffee filter and chill.
  4. This recipe yields about 3 c. of flavored vinegar.
