Plain Cake (Wheat Free, Gluten Free)

Ingredientes

  • 1 x and 1/4 c. rice flour
  • 1/2 c. soy flour
  • 2 x and 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. castor sugar
  • 125 gm melted butter
  • 2/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 175C (350F).
  2. Grease a 20cm (8") cake tin.
  3. Sift flours and baking pwdr.
  4. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat for 3 min, with an electric mixer.
  5. Pour into prepared tin.
  6. Bake 50 - 60 min.
  7. Variation:For a lemon or possibly orange cake, add in juice and rind of either one lemon or possibly one orange, add in lowfat milk to the juice to make up the 2/3 c. of the lowfat milk required for the recipe.
