%20A%20while%20back,%20through%20the%20Foodbuzz%20Tastemakers%20Program%20I%20received%20two%20bags%20of%20Godiva%20Chocolatier%20Coffee.%20One%20bag%20was%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20and%20the%20other%20bag%20was%20Caramel%20Pecan%20Bark.%20I%20should've%20posted%20about%20my%20experience%20a%20month%20ago....but%20like%20I%20said.%20I'm%20late.%20I%20apologize%20to%20both%20Foodbuzz%20and%20Godiva.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20to%20say%20this....of%20all%20the%20flavored%20coffees%20out%20there...Godiva%20makes%20THE%20best!%20Rich,%20deep,%20and%20well%20blended.%20The%20flavor%20combinations%20are%20just%20fantastic.%20I'm%20particularly%20in%20love%20with%20the%20Caramel%20Pecan%20Bark.%20I've%20run%20out%20and%20am%20in%20need%20of%20more!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo....what%20did%20I%20do%20with%20these%20coffees?%20Well...I%20attempted%20a%20latte.%20At%20home.%20Without%20a%20latte%20maker%20thingy%20bob.%20It%20wasn't%20difficult.%20It%20was%20a%20bit%20fun.%20Don't%20compare%20my%20attempts%20to%20what%20you'd%20get%20at%20any%20of%20those%20fancy%20coffee%20shops%20by%20any%20means.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20the%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20coffee%20for%20my%20latte.%20You%20see,%20I'd%20found%20a%20bottle%20of%20Pumpkin%20Pie%20Cream%20Liqueur%20and%20thought%20the%20two%20had%20to%20go%20together.%20A%20no%20brainer.%20Which%20is%20a%20good%20thing%20because%20in%20the%20morning...I%20can%20only%20deal%20with%20no%20brainers.%20And%20yes....I%20did%20drink%20a%20spiked%20latte%20in%20the%20morning.%20And%20loved%20every%20moment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20started%20off%20by%20making%20a%20very%20strong%20pot%20of%20Pumpkin%20Spice%20coffee.%20Then%20I%20heated%20up%20some%20half%20and%20half.%20Got%20out%20my%20handy%20dandy%20immersion%20blender%20and%20whipped%20that%20half%20and%20half%20into%20a%20foaming%20frenzy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20never%20did%20get%20as%20foamy%20as%20the%20coffee%20shops....but%20it%20was%20fun%20anyway.%20I%20then%20filled%20my%20mug%20half%20way%20with%20coffee.%20Now%20for%20the%20fun%20part.....that%20shot%20of%20Pumpkin%20Pie%20Cream%20liqueur.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20one%20shot%20in%20with%20the%20coffee.%20Yes...only%201%20shot.%20It%20was%20morning....remember?%20Next%20I%20added%20the%20frenzied%20foamy%20half%20and%20half.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20tried%20to%20garnish%20it%20with%20a%20bit%20of%20cinnamon.%20All%20it%20did%20was%20agitate%20the%20foam.%20There%20actually%20was%20a%20lot%20more%20foam%20on%20that%20baby%20before%20the%20cinnamon%20arrived.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20a%20very%20nice%20way%20to%20start%20the%20day.%20Fun%20and%20easy.%20I%20don't%20have%20exact%20measurements%20for%20the%20ratio%20between%20coffee%20and%20foam.%20I%20think%20thats%20a%20personal%20taste%20thing.%20I'm%20looking%20forward%20to%20having%20another%20go%20at%20it%20on%20Christmas%20morning.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20for%20my%20favorite%20flavor.....the%20Caramel%20Pecan%20Bark.%20YUM!!!%20It's%20on%20my%20grocery%20list....I%20need%20more!%20It's%20that%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20make%20something%20rather%20fun%20with%20it%20though.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECoffee%20Extract%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20coffee%20grounds%20in%20a%20glass%20jar.%20Pour%20the%20water%20over%20the%20grounds.%20Close%20the%20jar%20and%20keep%20it%20in%20a%20dark%20place%20for%203%20days.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20the%203%20days%20are%20up....line%20a%20strainer%20with%20cheesecloth%20and%20strain%20the%20%22mud%22.%20It%20doesn't%20make%20much....but%20its%20wonderfully.....strong....coffee%20extract.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStore%20in%20a%20little%20bottle%20and%20keep%20in%20the%20refrigerator.%20I%20don't%20know%20what%20the%20shelf%20life%20is.%20I've%20had%20mine%20a%20couple%20of%20weeks...and%20it's%20still%20fine.%20Just%20know%20one%20thing....it%20can't%20take%20the%20place%20of%20vanilla%20extract.%20I%20tried.%20It%20doesn't%20do%20anything%20for%20the%20flavor%20of%20the%20dessert.%20So%20sad.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut....it%20does%20taste%20fantastic%20on%20vanilla%20ice%20cream%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
