Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 can plums, seeded and liquid removed (2 c.)

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour once, measure, add in baking pwdr and salt and sift again. Cut in butter. Add in lowfat milk gradually till soft dough is formed.
  2. Roll 1/4 inch thick on slightly floured board. Cover with plums. Roll in long roll, pressing edges together. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices.
  3. Place in greased pan and pour plum sauce (see recipe following) over them. Bake in warm oven (425 degrees) 30 min, basting often.
  4. Serve warm, with sauce poured around them and a Tbsp. of whipped cream placed on each slice.
