Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce canned sliced beets or possibly fresh beets (add in a little water to fresh beets for the juice)
  • 16 ounce canned pineapple chunks
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch (1 to 2)
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  •     salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine

Direcciones

  1. Rain beets or possibly cook fresh ones and slice.drain pineapple, reserve juices.
  2. Combine beet juice and pineapple juice in saucepan; cook over medium heat to boiling.Mix cornstarch,sugar, vinegar,salt and pepper into a smooth paste.Cook,stirring constantly, till thickened. Add in beets and pineapple; Mix. Add in margarine; simmer for 20 min.Serve warm or possibly cool.
  3. Yield: 8-10servings Enjoy!!
