Ingredientes

  • 4 lbs. pork loin
  • 3 lbs. sauerkraut
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 2 carrots, cut into sticks
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced into 1" pcs
  • 4 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 lg. onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 lg. red apple, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano, crushed
  • 1/4 c. snipped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns

Direcciones

  1. Step 1: Place half of sauerkraut in the bottom of roasting pan. Add in pork loin. Put remaining sauerkraut over pork. Pour tomatoes over sauerkraut.
  2. Step 2: Add in celery, carrots, onion, apple, around edge of roasting pan, sprinkle brown sugar over tomatoes and sauerkraut. Add in remaining seasonings.
  3. Step 3: Cook, covered in 325 degree oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hrs or possibly till meat is done. Baste with juice frequently. Serves 6 to 8.
