Receta porridge
Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. rinsed red wheat berries
- pinch of salt
- Simmer for 45 minutes - 1 hour
- drain and set aside
- (can be made the night before and stored in the fridge)

- 1 c. steel cut oats
- 4 tbs quick cooking grits
- 3/4 c. half and half
- 3 tbs. maple syrup
- 2 tbs light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 c. dried cranberries or cherries
- 1 cup sliced almonds
