Potato And Cheese "Pie" (Pan Haggerty)

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 x potato, sliced, thinly
  • 1 x onion, sliced, thinly
  • 1/4 lb cheddar cheese, grated

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a frypan over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and lay 1/3 of the potato slices in the bottom of the pan, and lay 1/3 of the onion slices on top of which.
  3. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the grated cheese. Top with another layer of potatoes, and another layer of onions.
  4. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top, cover with the remaining onions and finally with the rest of the potatoes.
  5. Cover and cook for 20-25 min.
  6. Remove the lid and invert a plate over the frypan. Flip the frypan over so which the potato mix winds up on the plate, cooked side up.
  7. Add in a bit more oil to the pan and slide the potatoes back into the pan to cook the other side. Cook for 10 min, covered, then serve.
