  • 12 x Apples, Peeled Cored
  • 8 ounce Butter
  • 10 ounce Calvados
  • 15 fl ounce Ounce Cider, Dry
  • 3 Tbsp. Double Cream

  1. Brown chicken and apples in flameproof casserole with 3.5 ozs butter 2. flame with calvados3.pour in cider and seasoning, simmer 20 mins 4. remove apples when tender5. reduce liquid by 3/4 whisk in butter, add in more calvados if necessary and season 6. add in cream, pour over chicken and apples
