Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Apple cider
  • 1 c. Whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, cut into small pcs (1/4 stick)
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 dsh Lemon extract
  • 4 slc Purchased lb. cake
  • 1 pt Vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 c. Walnuts, toasted, minced

Direcciones

  1. Boil apple cider in large skillet till reduced to 1/2 c., about 18 min. Add in cream; boil till slightly thickened, about 2 min.
  2. Transfer to bowl. Whisk in butter and both extracts. Cold slightly, then refrigeratetill cool, at least 1 hour. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Keep chilled.)
  3. Place 1 slice of cake on each plate. Top each with ice cream, sauce and nuts.
  4. Makes 4 servings.
