Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Grnd beef
  • 2 x Onion, minced
  • 1 x Bell pepper, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 can Whole tomatoes with thick puree, 28 ounces each
  • 1 can Red kidney beans, rinsed and liquid removed
  • 1 can Black beans, canned
  • 1 c. Water

Direcciones

  1. Cook beef, onions and green pepper in a large wide-bottom pot over medium heat, breaking up chunks of meat with a wooden spoon, till meat is no longer pink, about 7 min. Drain off any fat.
  2. Add in chili pwdr, cumin, and salt and cook 2 min, stirring constantly, till spices are fragrant.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients, increase heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally and breaking up tomatoes with a wooden spoon, till chili thickens.
  4. Cold, then remove 2 c. for Huevos Rancheros recipe.
