%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20though%20I%20would%20normally%20be%20doing%20a%204th%20of%20July%20table,%20but%20since%20we're%20going%20to%20be%20in%20Florida%20this%20weekend%20(and%20I'm%20going%20insane%20trying%20to%20get%20some%20spoiled%20people%20who%20want%20Mom%20to%20do%20everything%20for%20them%20everyone%20packed%20and%20the%20house%20in%20some%20semblance%20of%20order%20for%20my%20parents%20while%20working%20all%20day)%20the%20best%20I%20could%20do%20was%20to%20show%20you%20our%20dinner%20table%20tonight.%20This%20afternoon%20I%20did%20a%20tasting%20for%20a%20potential%20client,%20so%20dinner%20was%20a%20bit%20of%20a%20conglomeration.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20starter%20of%20garlicky%20sauteed%20shrimp%20with%20a%20Romesco%20Sauce%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERomesco%20is%20a%20sauce%20originally%20from%20Tarragona,%20in%20Northeastern%20Spain.%20The%20story%20goes%20%20that%20fishermen%20of%20the%20area%20made%20it%20to%20eat%20with%20fish.%20It%20is%20also%20wonderful%20with%20%20meats%20and%20vegetables%20and%20can%20be%20served%20spread%20on%20a%20lovely%20toasted%20foccacia.%20It's%20a%20thick%20puree%20of%20roasted%20peppers,%20almonds,%20hazelnuts,%20tomatoes,%20and%20garlic%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20client%20asked%20for%20a%20fresh%20pasta,%20so%20what%20could%20be%20better%20than%20ravioli-%20a%20roasted%20red%20onion%20ravioli%20dressed%20with%20a%20thyme-%20infused%20cream.%20This%20entire%20meal%20was%20inspired%20by%20our%20local%20Farmer's%20Market%20offerings-%20we'd%20love%20to%20hear%20what%20you%20all%20are%20creating%20with%20the%20season's%20herbs,%20fruits%20and%20veggies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'll%20let%20the%20table%20speak%20for%20itself%20this%20week%20since%20it's%20a%20simple%20one-%20the%20recipe%20is%20at%20the%20end%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOur%20nod%20to%20the%20Fourth-%20Liberty%20Blue%20bread%20dishes%20and%20butter%20server%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHomemade%20Honey%20Buttermilk%20bread%20that%20we%20made%20yesterday.%20The%20flowers%20were%20brought%20to%20me%20by%20a%20very,%20very%20special%20little%20gentleman.%20I%20love%20you%20Spencer%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMust%20have%20wine...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20water,%20sugar%20and%20yeast.%20Let%20sit%20until%20yeast%20is%20foamy,%20about%205-10%20minutes.%20If%20you%20use%20Rapid%20Rise%20yeast,%20this%20isn%E2%80%99t%20really%20necessary-%20just%20give%20it%20a%20couple%20of%20minutes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20the%20bowl%20of%20an%20electric%20mixer%20with%20dough%20hook,%20combine%20all%20ingredients%20(except%20egg).%20Mix%20until%20dough%20forms%20a%20smooth,%20slightly%20sticky%20ball.%20Knead%20dough%20on%20a%20floured%20surface%20for%20a%20few%20minutes,%20just%20until%20you%20can%20shape%20it%20into%20a%20ball.%20Don't%20work%20too%20much%20flour%20into%20the%20dough.%20It%20should%20be%20firm,%20but%20still%20slightly%20sticky.%20Place%20in%20greased%20bowl,%20covered,%20to%20rise%20until%20doubled%20in%20size%20(about%201%20hour%2015%20minutes).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPunch%20dough%20down%20and%20place%20in%20a%20greased%20loaf%20pan.%20Beat%20egg%20slightly%20and%20brush%20top(s)%20of%20bread.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20375F%20while%20bread%20rises.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECover%20and%20let%20rise%20until%20almost%20doubled,%2040%20minutes.%20Bake%2045%20minutes,%20until%20loaf%20is%20browned%20and%20sounds%20hollow%20when%20tapped.%20Cover%20loaf%20with%20aluminum%20foil%20if%20top%20appears%20to%20be%20browning%20too%20quickly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%20cool%20for%2030%20minutes%20before%20slicing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%202%20standard%20loaves%20or%20one%20pan%2016x4x4%201/2%20(I%20always%20use%20this%20pan-%20I%20LOVE%20the%20high%20sides%20it%20gives%20the%20loaves.%20If%20you're%20interested,%20I%20think%20I%20added%20a%20link%20on%20Pattie's%20picks%20on%20our%20sidebar.%20It%20was%20a%20while%20ago%20and%20the%20memory%20is%20not%20what%20it%20used%20to%20be)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETutti%20a%20Tavola!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJoin%20us%20tomorrow%20for%20Foodie%20Friday%20at%20Gollum's-%20we'll%20be%20sharing%20the%20recipe%20for%20Roasted%20Red%20Onion%20Ravioli%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20Always,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBuon%20Cibo,%20Buon%20Amici,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPattie%20and%20Allie%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
