Ingredientes

  • 1 x Rabbit
  • 1/4 c. Sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Bacon drippings or possibly cooking
  •     Oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 c. Beef or possibly chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream

Direcciones

  1. To prepare rabbit; toss with flour & seasonings except for bacon drippings. Brown rabbit well in drippings in a large skillet over moderate heat till cooked & browned. Remove rabbit form pan. Drain off all drippings but 2 Tbsp., blend in flour & brown lightly.
  2. Slowly add in water, lowfat milk & broth & heat, stirring, till thickened; simmer, uncovered, 2-3 min. Fold in lowfat sour cream, return rabbit to skillet, & hot 5 min over lowest heat; don't boil.
