Receta Rabbit In Sour Cream Gravy

Ingredientes
- 1 x Rabbit
- 1/4 c. Sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp Sage
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Bacon drippings or possibly cooking
- Â Â Oil
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 3/4 c. Water
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 c. Beef or possibly chicken broth
- 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream
Direcciones
- To prepare rabbit; toss with flour & seasonings except for bacon drippings. Brown rabbit well in drippings in a large skillet over moderate heat till cooked & browned. Remove rabbit form pan. Drain off all drippings but 2 Tbsp., blend in flour & brown lightly.
- Slowly add in water, lowfat milk & broth & heat, stirring, till thickened; simmer, uncovered, 2-3 min. Fold in lowfat sour cream, return rabbit to skillet, & hot 5 min over lowest heat; don't boil.
