Ingredientes

  • 10 x Carrots, peeled
  • 3 lrg Green peppers, seeded
  • 3 lrg Red peppers, seeded
  • 1 lrg Head red cabbage
  • 3 med Onions, peeled
  • 6 c. White wine vinegar
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. Celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. Allspice

Direcciones

  1. Put all vegetables through the coarse blade of a food minced. Mix well & pack into warm, sterilized jars. (Color may be dark. The warm vinegar will restore good color.) Mix vinegar with remaining ingredients in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil & simmer 10 min. Pour boiling vinegar mix over vegetables, covering completely. Cover jars. Store in refrigerator.
  3. Makes 4quarts.
