%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20suppose%20there%20are%20some%20recipes%20where%20a%20go-to%20would%20be%20appropriate.%20I%20think%20the%20perfect,%20chocolately,%20fudgey%20brownie%20would%20fall%20into%20that%20category.%20You%20just%20have%20to%20have%20it.%20Why?%20Because%20people%20love%20brownies,%20that%E2%80%99s%20why.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAh,%20but%20beware,%20brownies%20can%20miss.%20Big%20time.%20We%E2%80%99ve%20all%20had%20a%20bad%20brownie%20at%20some%20point%20in%20our%20lives,%20right?%20It%20probably%20had%20really%20stiff%20chocolate%20icing%20and%20colored%20sprinkles%20on%20it.%20It%20may%20or%20may%20not%20have%20come%20from%20a%20box%20with%20a%20picture%20of%20a%20smiling%20child%20on%20it.%20I%E2%80%99m%20talking%20about%20the%20ones%20that%20are%20so%20sweet%20they%20make%20your%20teeth%20hurt.%20Or%20the%20ones%20that%20are%20so%20dense%20and%20underbaked,%20they%E2%80%99ve%20stopped%20being%20brownies%20and%20crossed%20over%20into%20fudge.%20And,%20of%20course,%20there%E2%80%99s%20the%20overly%20cakey%20brownie,%20which,%20if%20you%20want%20to%20get%20technical%20is%20not%20a%20brownie%20at%20all%E2%80%A6it%E2%80%99s,%20you%20know%E2%80%A6cake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20brownie%20is%20a%20delicate%20balance%20between%20fudgey%20and%20cakey%20%E2%80%93%20a%20deep,%20dark%20chocolate%20flavor%20is%20preferable%20to%20that%20of%20just%20straight%20sugar.%20It%20should%20be%20rich%20and%20delicious%20enough%20to%20stand%20on%20it%E2%80%99s%20own%20without%20add-ins%20or%20frosting.%20Not%20that%20there%E2%80%99s%20anything%20wrong%20with%20those%20things,%20they%20have%20their%20place,%20but%20I%E2%80%99m%20talking%20about%20a%20go-to%20recipe%20here%20in%20purest%20sense%20of%20the%20word.%20That%20is,%20you%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20to%20mess%20with%20it%E2%80%A6it%E2%80%99s%20just%20THAT%20GOOD%20on%20it%E2%80%99s%20own.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20been%20using%20the%20same%20brownie%20recipe%20for%20a%20few%20years%20now%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20very%20good%20but%20when%20I%20needed%20a%20sweet%20treat%20to%20satisfy%20my%20chocoholic%20husband%20while%20I%20was%20out%20of%20town,%20I%20decided%20to%20try%20a%20different%20one.%20I%20spotted%20this%20recipe%20over%20at%20Jen%E2%80%99s%20blog%20Bakin%E2%80%99%20and%20Eggs%20(One%20of%20my%20favorite%20blogs!%20Check%20out%20her%20great%2068%20days%20of%20Gourmet%20magazine%20series!%20%20)%20and%20I%20knew%20I%20just%20had%20to%20try%20them.%20These%20Chewy,%20Fudgey%20Triple%20Chocolate%20brownies%20stood%20out%20to%20me%20because%20I%20had%20everything%20I%20needed%20on%20hand%20and%20they%E2%80%99d%20be%20quick%20to%20make.%20That%E2%80%99s%20the%20recipe%20for%20a%20winner,%20if%20you%20ask%20me!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGood%20golly%20miss%20molly,%20these%20are%20so%20good%20they%20make%20me%20want%20to%20shout%20to%20the%20heavens%20in%20outdated%20slang.%20These%20brownies%20are%20the%20bees%20knees!!%20The%20cats%20pajamas!%20Groovy!%20Radical%20and%20totally%20tubular,%20dude!%20All%20that%20and%20a%20bag%20of%20chips!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAhem.%20%E2%80%98Scuse%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20what%20I%E2%80%99m%20saying%20is%E2%80%A6one%20bite%20and%20you%20will%20be%20a%20believer%20too!%20These%20brownies%20have%20it%20all.%20Great%20chew,%20unbeatable%20chocolate%20flavor%20and%20a%20great%20crinkly,%20flaky%20top%20that%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20resist.%20They%20are%20the%20perfect%20balance%20of%20fudge%20and%20cake%20chock%20full%20of%20rich,%20dark%20chocolate.%20The%20texture%20is%20spot%20on.%20Eric%20loved%20these.%20So%20did%20I.%20I%20am%20pleased%20to%20announce%20I%20have%20a%20new%20go-to%20brownie%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAlert%20the%20media!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECHEWY,%20FUDGY%20TRIPLE%20CHOCOLATE%20BROWNIES%20(Recipe%20Source:%20Cooks%20Illustrated,%20May%202000%20as%20seen%20at%20Bakin%E2%80%99%20and%20Eggs.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EINGREDIENTS:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDIRECTIONS:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdjust%20oven%20rack%20to%20lower-middle%20position%20and%20preheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees.%20Spray%20an%208-inch%20square%20baking%20pan%20with%20nonstick%20cooking%20spray.%20Fold%20two%2012-inch%20pieces%20of%20foil%20lengthwise%20so%20that%20they%20measure%207%20inches%20wide.%20Fit%20one%20sheet%20in%20bottom%20of%20greased%20pan,%20pushing%20it%20into%20corners%20and%20up%20sides%20of%20pan.%20Fit%20the%20second%20sheet%20in%20pan%20in%20same%20manner,%20perpendicular%20to%20first%20sheet.%20Spray%20foil%20with%20nonstick%20cooking%20spray.%20The%20foil%20overhangs%20will%20help%20you%20lift%20the%20brownies%20out%20of%20the%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20a%20medium%20heatproof%20bowl%20over%20a%20pan%20of%20almost-simmering%20water.%20Melt%20chocolates%20and%20butter,%20stirring%20occasionally%20until%20mixture%20is%20smooth.%20Whisk%20in%20cocoa%20until%20smooth.%20Set%20aside%20to%20cool%20slightly.%20Alternatively,%20you%20can%20melt%20chocolates%20and%20butter%20in%20a%20microwave%20safe%20bowl.%20Cook%20on%2050%20percent%20power,%20stopping%20to%20stir%20ever%2030%20seconds,%20
