%20and%20had%20such%20a%20fabulous%20time!%20There%20is%20something%20really%20meditative%20and%20magical%20about%20letting%20oneself%20be%20carried%20along%20by%20the%20current,%20leisurely%20taking%20in%20all%20the%20surrounding%20beauty.%20And%20oh%20what%20fun%20when%20we%20hit%20rapids!%20Woo%20hoo!%20I%20had%20a%20huge%20grin%20plastered%20on%20my%20face%20most%20of%20the%20afternoon.%20;-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20a%20gardener%20at%20heart%20but%20was%20never%20given%20the%20right%20circumstances%20to%20really%20get%20into%20it.%20This%20week,%20however,%20I%20found%20a%20garden%20to%20play%20with%20and%20an%20absolutely%20ginormous%20one%20at%20that!%20I%20swear%20I've%20never%20seen%20such%20an%20abundance%20of%20veggies:%20various%20greens,%20beets,%20carrots,%20beans,%20peas,%20tomatoes,%20basil,%20potatoes,%20squashes...%20And%20as%20if%20that%20wasn't%20enough,%20the%20setting%20is%20be-yu-ti-ful!%20It's%20amazing%20how%20good%20it%20feels%20to%20spend%20a%20few%20hours%20in%20the%20company%20of%20plants!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20helped%20thinning%20lettuce%20beds%20one%20day;%20I%20swear%20that%20some%20of%20the%20heads%20were%20at%20least%201%201/2%20feet%20in%20diameter!%20Have%20you%20ever%20heard%20of%20the%20lettuce%20diet?%20hehe%20We've%20been%20throwing%20some%20in%20our%20smoothies,%20soups%20and%20of%20course,%20enjoyng%20huge%20salads.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENature's%20mandala%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20and%20there's%20also%20some%20lovely%20flowers!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20happy%20gardener!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20a%20different%20note,%20I%20realized%20that%20I%20haven't%20been%20giving%20much%20news%20about%20the%20furries%20for%20a%20while.%20Well%20rest%20assured%20that%20they,%20too,%20are%20thoroughly%20enjoying%20their%20summer.%20One%20thing's%20for%20sure;%20they%20are%20getting%20plenty%20of%20rest!%20Neither%20of%20them%20venture%20too%20far%20away%20from%20our%20'home%20on%20wheels',%20especially%20Puss%20who%20hangs%20out%20in%20the%20van%20almost%20around%20the%20clock.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHer%20favorite%20spots%20are%20the%20front%20seats...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E...%20but%20she%20occasionally%20goes%20for%20a%20little%20stroll%20(or%20in%20this%20case%20nap)%20in%20the%20woods.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKyky's%20fave%20spot%20is%20a%20comfy%20hole%20that%20he's%20dug%20out%20next%20to%20the%20van.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESmiling%20woo'fie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20all%20this%20going%20on%20I've%20been%20too%20busy%20to%20spend%20much%20time%20prepping%20food,%20but%20I%20do%20have%20a%20yummilicious%20shake%20recipe%20to%20share!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Urbaneks%20have%20an%20organic%20grocery%20store,%20organize%20raw%20retreats%20and%20health%20expos,%20offer%20an%20array%20of%20classes%20and%20have%20even%20developed%20their%20own%20line%20of%20organic,%20homemade%20products%20including%20several%20raw%20creations%20such%20as%20bars,%20crackers,%20breads,%20as%20well%20as%20sauerkraut%20and%20kombucha%20starter%20kits.%20Oh%20and%20did%20I%20mention%20that%20they%20also%20have%20an%20organic%20cafe%20called%20Zuzu's%20with%20some%20raw%20items%20on%20the%20menu?%20Call%20them%20'The%20Super%20Family'!%20Wow,%20you%20guys%20rawck!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20following%20recipe%20was%20published%20in%20one%20of%20Nature's%20Garden%20Health's%20newsletters.%20It%20reminded%20me%20a%20little%20of%20my%20Super%20Choconana%20Shake%20sans%20the%20superfoods.%20I%20like%20how%20quick%20it%20is%20to%20whip%20up,%20since%20you%20don't%20need%20to%20have%20almond%20milk%20on%20hand.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EReally%20very%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELisa's%20Amazing%20Raw%20Chocolate%20Shake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPosted%20in%20Nature's%20Garden%20Health%20Center's%20Raw%20Desserts%20Newsletter%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlend%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETRY%20to%20savor%20it%20and%20not%20chug%20the%20whole%20thing%E2%80%A6.I%20believe%20there%20is%20a%20prize%20if%20you%20can%20make%20this%20one%20last!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
