Ingredientes

  • 2 c. rhubarb cut
  • 1/2 c. Sugar Put sugar on rhubarb
  •     Let it stand while making cake
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1 c. lowfat milk sour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda in lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 c. flour (rounded)

Direcciones

  1. Beat all together. Add in rhubarb last.
  2. Bake 350 for 50-60 min.
  3. While it is still warm, I mix flour, butter and cinnamon together and spread on the cake.
  4. You can cut up rhubarb and freeze 2 c. in little bags. Which way it is always ready for a cake summer or possibly winter.
