Rhubarb Creme Pie

My mom makes the best rhubarb pie. We have a patch in our back yard that we are always excited to see come up because we know Mom will be making pie!

Ingredientes

  • Pie Filling:
  • 1 deep-dish pie shell
  • 1 cups diced rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup half & half
  • Butter-crumble topping:
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter

Direcciones

  1. Fill pie shell with diced rhubarb. Mix sugar, flour, nutmeg and half & half together and pour over rhubarb.
  2. Combine flour, sugar and butter to make a crumble. Sprinkle crumble over pie and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
