Ingredientes

  • 24 ounce fresh rhubarb trimmed, and
  •     cut into 1/2" pcs - (abt 5 c.)
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 2/3 c. golden sugar - (packed)
  • 1/3 c. minced toasted walnuts
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
  •     Buttermilk Ice Cream (see recipe)

Direcciones

  1. For Rhubarb: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients in large bowl to combine. Divide mix among six 1-c. ramekins. Place ramekins on large baking sheet and bake rhubarb 10 min.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare Streusel: Mix golden sugar, minced walnuts, flour, and butter in medium bowl. Crumble streusel over rhubarb, dividing equally. Bake till rhubarb mix is bubbling and streusel is golden, about 20 min.
  3. Serve crisps hot with a scoop of Buttermilk Ice Cream.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
