Ingredientes

  • 2 bags Diced Onions
  • 2 bags Diced Carrots
  • 9 quarts Basmati rice
  • 4 quarts Lentils
  • 2 cups Raisins
  • 1/4 cup Salt and Pepper Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Hot Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 cup Cumin
  • 1/2 cup Indian Spice Blend
  • 3 gallons Water
  • 4 gallons Vegetable Stock
  • 3 cups Toasted Almonds
  • 2 cups Minced Fresh Parsley
  • 2 cups Olive Oil

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil, saute onions to light brown color and soft texture.
  2. Add rice and lentils and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add water and stock. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until rice and lentils are tender.
  4. Add carrots, bring to tempurature. Adjust seasoning.
  5. Garnish with toasted almonds and parsley to serve.
