Receta Rice and Lentil Pilaf

Ingredientes
- 2 bags Diced Onions
- 2 bags Diced Carrots
- 9 quarts Basmati rice
- 4 quarts Lentils
- 2 cups Raisins
- 1/4 cup Salt and Pepper Mix
- 2 Tbsp Hot Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 cup Cumin
- 1/2 cup Indian Spice Blend
- 3 gallons Water
- 4 gallons Vegetable Stock
- 3 cups Toasted Almonds
- 2 cups Minced Fresh Parsley
- 2 cups Olive Oil
Direcciones
- Heat oil, saute onions to light brown color and soft texture.
- Add rice and lentils and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add water and stock. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until rice and lentils are tender.
- Add carrots, bring to tempurature. Adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with toasted almonds and parsley to serve.
