Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Each: celery and onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, divided
  • 3 c. Cooked rice
  • 3/4 c. Raisins
  • 1/3 c. Walnuts, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 6 x Cornish game hens, 20 ounce each

Direcciones

  1. In a skillet, saute/fry onion and celery in 3 Tbsp. butter till tender; remove from the heat. Add in rice, raisins, walnuts, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and pepper; mix well. Stuff hens. Place on a rack in a large shallow baking pan. Soften remaining butter; rub over sins. Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till the juices run clear.
