Receta Rice Stuffed Cornish Hens

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. Each: celery and onion, minced
- 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, divided
- 3 c. Cooked rice
- 3/4 c. Raisins
- 1/3 c. Walnuts, minced
- 3 Tbsp. Honey
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 6 x Cornish game hens, 20 ounce each
Direcciones
- In a skillet, saute/fry onion and celery in 3 Tbsp. butter till tender; remove from the heat. Add in rice, raisins, walnuts, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and pepper; mix well. Stuff hens. Place on a rack in a large shallow baking pan. Soften remaining butter; rub over sins. Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till the juices run clear.
