- Heat 1 tbsp butter in frying pan, add in shallots and mushrooms and saute till golden. Add in beef, wine and increase heat, stir till reduced to half. Add in remaining butter and stir quickly into mix. Serve immediately in warm pastry shells.Serves 6. (Excellent quick way to use leftover roast.)
