Roasted Venison Loin

Ingredientes

  • 2 ounce extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb venison loin, cut in 1 1/2 inch-thick pcs
  • 1/2 lb shiitake caps
  • 2 lrg onions, sliced
  • 2 med Fuji apples
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 ounce marsala wine
  •     Fresh thyme

Direcciones

  1. Rub venison with salt, pepper and thyme. Sear all sides in warm pan with extra virgin olive oil. Finish in oven to desired temperature. Remove venison from pan, add in onions, mushrooms and apples. Saute/fry till soft, then add in marsala, butter and thyme to taste.
  2. Makes two to four servings.
