Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound top round steak
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/3 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. veg. oil
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 pound sliced cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Cut meat into serving pcs. Dip in egg and roll in cheese-crumb mix. Brown meat in oil over medium heat. Use shallow baking dish. Saute/fry onion in skillet till soft. Stir in salt, pepper, sugar, butter, tomato paste. Gradually add in warm water, stirring constantly. Boil 5 min. Scrape bottom of pan. Pour 1/2 of sauce over meat and cheese, then add in remaining sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
