Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lbs. round steak, 1 inch thick
  • 3 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 1 med. onion, sliced

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Cut steak into 6 serving pcs; dredge in flour. Put in oven-proof skillet with lid. Heat oil to medium-warm, slowly brown meat on both sides. Drain fat. Combine rest of ingredients, except onion slices, and pour over steak. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 min. Top with onion slices. Cover. Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees till fork tender, 1 or possibly 1 1/2 hrs.
