%20and%20the%20mind%20started%20wandering....%20it%20wasn't%20the%20easiest%20of%20wanders...%20Having%20moved%20house%20last%20month,%20half%20of%20my%20kitchen%20stuff%20is%20still%20in%20storage%20boxes,%20its%20semi-organised%20into%20an%20old%20storage%20unit%20but%20not%20brilliantly%20accessible%20either...I%20nearly%20twisted%20my%20ankle%20finding%20the%20ramekins%20but%20was%20worth%20the%20challenge!!%20Maybe%20it%20could%20be%20a%20future%20task%20for%20the%20Crystal%20maze?!!%20I%20had%20nothing%20to%20hand%20either%20to%20put%20the%20cream%20in%20but%20think%20my%20mini%20jam%20jar's%20make%20a%20novel%20pouring%20tool!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20oven%20in%20my%20new%20kitchen,%20to%20put%20it%20bluntly%20is%20crap.%20Nothing%20seems%20to%20brown%20in%20a%20hurry,%20its%20possibly%20older%20than%20me%20and%20as%20I%20live%20upstairs%20and%20the%20kitchen%20is%20downstairs,%20with%20my%20wonky%20knees%20going%20up%20and%20down%20every%205%20minutes%20to%20check%20on%20things%20is%20not%20so%20good!%20Also%20dinner%20was%20about%2015%20minutes%20from%20being%20ready%20so%20I%20needed%20to%20make%20something%20fairly%20quick%20and%20easy..%20I%20had%20experimented%20last%20year%20with%20microwave%20cakes,%20with%20some%20pretty%20good%20results%20so%20thought%20why%20not%20try%20with%20good%20old%20b&b%20pudding!%20I%20gave%20them%203%20minutes,%20but%20next%20time%20I%20think%20I%20will%20do%20at%202.30%20minutes%20for%20a%20slightly%20softer%20pudding..a%20lot%20will%20depend%20on%20the%20dish%20size%20and%20how%20powerful%20the%20zapper%20is!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%202%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERequires%20grill%20and%20microwave%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4%20scotch%20pancakes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPre-heat%20grill%20if%20particularly%20ancient%20to%20medium-hot%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDepending%20on%20the%20size%20of%20the%20ramekins,%20grease%20them%20and%20then%20butter%20the%20pancakes%20and%20cut%20into%204/%205%20pieces,%20assemble%20in%20dish%20tightly,%20scattering%20the%20chocolate%20chunks%20throughout%20the%20layers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeat%20the%20sugar,%20egg,%20milk%20and%20rum%20together,%20pour%20over%20the%20puddings%20to%20cover%20evenly%20and%20stand%20for%20a%20minute.%20Sprinkle%20over%20a%20little%20sugar%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMicrowave%20for%202-3%20minutes%20or%20until%20just%20cooked%20-%20use%20a%20skewer%20to%20test.%20Transfer%20to%20the%20grill%20and%20brown%20to%20a%20desired%20shade.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStand%20for%20a%20minute%20or%20two%20before%20eating%20-%20they%20will%20be%20very%20hot!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20little%20puddings%20were%20great!%20Their%20texture%20was%20pretty%20similar%20to%20the%20more%20traditional%20oven%20baked%20variety%20and%20smothered%20in%20cream%20sauce%20were%20delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20my%20puddings%20used%20up%20cheap%20ingredients,%20and%20were%20quick%20to%20cook%20I%20have%20put%20them%20in%20this%20months%20Credit%20Crunch%20Munch%20created%20by%20Fuss%20Free%20Flavours%20and%20Fab%20Food%20for%20All%20and%20the%20host%20this%20month%20is%20Fish%20Fingers%20for%20Tea%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMany%20thanks%20to%20Dr%20Oetker%20for%20the%20chocolate%20chunks%20:)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
