Ingredientes

  • 6 x Large eggs to 8
  • 2 quart lowfat milk
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. whipping cream whipped
  •     Nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs. In a large saucepan or possibly kettle, blend Large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar, and salt.
  2. Cook over low heat; stir constantly till mix coats a metal spoon (about 20 min) then add in vanilla.
  3. Cold quickly by setting pan in bowl of ice water. Stir for a few min, then cover and chill overnight.
  4. Mix in whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve. Shouldn't stay at room temperature for more than 2 (two) hrs.
