Salad Greens With Bacon Dressing

Ingredientes

  • 4 c. salad greens (spinach, romaine, iceberg, lettuce)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 1 or possibly 2 hard boiled Large eggs, minced (optional)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 to 2 tbsp. lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Place greens in a salad bowl. Add in onions and green peppers. Cut bacon into small pcs and fry till crisp. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Let bacon fat cold slightly.
  2. Add in brown sugar and stir well. Add in vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and garlic salt. Stir and pour over the greens. Toss gently. Garnish with bacon pcs and hard cooked Large eggs. Serves 6.
