Salmon Wild Rice Pasty Filling

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Salmon, poached or possibly barbecued
  • 2 x To 2 1/2 c. cooked wild rice (cooked in chicken or possibly Flavorful stock)
  • 3 x Green onions, minced
  • 1 x Red Bell pepper, finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lrg Clove garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 c. Apricot or possibly favorite chutney
  •     Cut salmon into chunks.

Direcciones

  1. Put rice in a mixing bowl. Saute/fry onions and pepper in butter and extra virgin olive oil till soft. Stir in garlic and saute/fry for 1 minute longer.
  2. Combine with rice and mix well.
  3. To assemble pasty, place a layer of rice on the pastry square, top with chunks of salmon and 1 or possibly 2 tsp. of chutney. Fold over and, bake as directed in yeast dough recipe.
