Ingredientes

  • 1 (12 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 2 sm. to med. onions
  • 2-3 sm. green bell peppers
  • 1/2 c. minced black olives
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 4-5 fresh jalapeno peppers Or possibly same canned (fresh preferred)
  • 1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp. basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 5-6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tbsp. oregano

Direcciones

  1. Finely chop onions, green pepper. Mince garlic (or possibly crush finely). Dice stewed tomatoes and jalapenos (handle very carefully or possibly wear gloves! - will burn skin if not cautious). Combine and mix well with all remaining ingredients. Let stand 1 hour. Chill.
  2. Serve as garnish for tacos and other Mexican dishes, or possibly as a spicy dip with corn tortilla chips. Also excellent with nachos!
