%20we%20had%20to%20make%20something%20with%20CARAMEL%20and%20PRETZELS!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20many%20options.%20I%20LOVE%20caramel.%20Tons%20of%20sweet%20and%20salty%20recipes%20were%20calling%20my%20name.%20A%20salted%20caramel%20pretzel%20bark%20that%20I've%20seen%20floating%20around%20pinterest%20won%20me%20over%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20reminded%20me%20a%20lot%20of%20my%20Saltine%20Toffee%20cuz%20of%20the%20saltiness%20but%20using%20pretzels%20instead%20of%20saltine%20crackers,%20and%20also%20like%20my%20Chocolate%20Almond%20Pretzel%20Toffee%20minus%20the%20nuts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20obviously,%20it%20was%20just%20as%20delicious%20as%20those!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20a%20large%20rectangle%20baking%20sheet,%20so%20it%20took%20a%20lot%20of%20mini%20rounded%20pretzel%20twists%20to%20cover%20the%20whole%20thing.%20I%20ended%20up%20doubling%20the%20caramel%20mixture%20because%20it%20just%20wasn't%20enough%20to%20cover%20all%20the%20pretzels,%20plus%20let's%20be%20honest%20here,%20too%20much%20caramel?%20Is%20that%20even%20a%20thing?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESalted%20Caramel%20Pretzel%20Bark%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadapted%20from%20Mama%20Say%20What?!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELine%20a%20large%20baking%20sheet%20with%20aluminum%20foil%20and%20lay%20a%20single%20layer%20of%20pretzels%20covering%20the%20whole%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20saucepan,%20melt%20the%20butter%20and%20the%20brown%20sugar%20until%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esugar%20is%20dissolved.%20Let%20it%20boil%20gently%20just%20until%20it%20starts%20to%20form%20a%20nice%20smooth%20caramel,%20letting%20it%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebubble%20a%20little%20to%20get%20thick.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20heat%20and%20pour%20evenly%20over%20the%20layer%20of%20pretzels.%20Put%20in%20oven%20at%20350%20degrees%20for%205%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20immediately%20sprinkle%20with%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20The%20hot%20caramel%20sauce%20will%20melt%20the%20chocolate,%20then%20spread%20evenly%20with%20an%20offset%20spatula.%20Sprinkle%20generously%20with%20sea%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%20cool%20on%20the%20counter%20top%20for%20a%20bit%20and%20then%20put%20in%20the%20freezer%20for%20at%20least%20two%20to%20three%20hours.%20Break%20into%20pieces%20to%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELinking%20up%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeace,%20and%20bacon%20grease!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
