Ingredientes

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. cool water
  • Oil to deep fry

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour, salt, peppers and cumin seeds together. Add in butter, mix till it is crumbly, and gradually add in water to make hard, smooth dough.
  2. Divide into four equal parts and roll 1/8-inch thick. Cut into thin strips for frying. Heat oil to 400 degrees. Fry strips for one minute and drain well. Serve warm or possibly cool with coffee or possibly tea.
