Sassy Smoked Salmon Canapes

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb smoked salmon sliced
  • 1 pkt melba toast
  • 1 stk lightly salted butter softened
  • 2 Tbsp. creamy style horseradish
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. thinly-minced scallions

Direcciones

  1. Salmon should be sliced thin and cut the same size as the melba toasts. Combine butter, horseradish sauce and mayonnaise till creamy.
  2. Spread a thin layer of horseradish mix on the toast then lay the salmon on top and garnish with scallions. If not serving immediately refirgerate till ready.
  3. This recipe yields 2 dozen depending on the cut of the salmon.
  4. Suggested Wine: Beverage suggestions: Warm spiced rum, Sauternes white.
  5. NOTES : Chef's Tip - Be creative with the shapes of the salmon and or possibly toast.
