Ingredientes

  • 8 ounce. sausage meat, crumbled
  • 1 (14 ounce.) can sauerkraut, well liquid removed & snipped
  • 3 ounce. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Large eggs, well beaten
  • 1/4 c. finely minced onion
  • 2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. minced parsley
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • Additional c. fine bread crumbs

Direcciones

  1. Cook sausage and onion till meat is brown; drain. Add in sauerkraut and 2 Tbsp. bread crumbs. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic salt and pepper. Stir in sauerkraut mix. Chill. Shape into small balls and coat with flour, add in lowfat milk to beaten Large eggs. Dip balls into egg/lowfat milk mix and roll in the additional bread crumbs. Fry in deep fat to brown. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 min. Can be frzn after the deep frying and then baked later. Makes 25 balls.
